We provide long-term debt funding to New Zealand’s electricity transmission and distribution businesses, supporting the investment required to maintain, strengthen and expand the country’s electricity networks.

Supporting New Zealand’s Energy Transition

Our investment to date is helping Transpower fund new grid connections supporting approximately 845 MW of renewable generation and battery storage, including:

• Huntly Battery Energy Storage System
• Te Mihi Geothermal
• Te Rahui Solar
• Kaiwera Downs Wind Farm

Our funding also supports major investment in New Zealand’s national transmission network, including the approximately 570 km Cook Strait HVDC transmission link replacement, as well as regional grid-strengthening projects across the Upper South Island and Central North Island.

Through our private credit strategy, we aim to connect long-term investor capital with the essential infrastructure powering New Zealand’s future.
